Our mission is to produce successful students in software engineering who can define, design, develop and deliver high quality software systems. We achieve this mission through our undergraduate and graduate programs in engineering and the research activities of our faculty working with student research teams.

Hasan Kalyoncu University Software Engineering Department has accepted its first students in the 2020-2021 academic year. The language of instruction in undergraduate programs of our department is 100% English. Our undergraduate students receive 1 year of foreign language education at the School of Foreign Languages before starting their education in our department. Our students who have successfully completed their foreign language education are entitled to 4 years / 8 semesters of Software Engineering education in our department. Our students who successfully complete all their courses after 7 semesters of theoretical education in our department are subjected to CO-OP (Applied Education in Industry) in the 8th semester. In the CO-OP system, our students work in companies that have an agreement with our University for 1 semester, receiving hands-on training and having the opportunity to have close contact with the sector.
