Software Engineering has become one of the most needed fields in our country as well as all over the world. Especially with the concept of Industry 4.0, the production of software products with high added value has accelerated, and the need for qualified workforce to work in these areas has increased. Association of Turkey Informatics Industry, published on May 2017(TUBISAD) ‘s prepared by the ‘Information and Communication Technologies Sector Market Data Report’ and according to these report Information Technology Market size is described as 29.6 billion TL. Compared to the previous year, the highest growth was realised in the software category with 16.3 percent. Our total exports in the software industry increased by 41 percent compared to the previous year and reached 2,041 billion TL. Within the framework of the Medium Term Program prepared by the Ministry of Development with a 3 year perspective and published at the end of September 2017, it is aimed to spread high value added production; Ar-Ge studies for the software sector, expansion abroad and clustering support and investments; it was stated that priority is given to cloud computing, big data, digital games, mobile applications and security. All these daha indicate that the software industry in our country is the fastest growing sector that needs a very high amount of employment.
